I’m skipping any pages that have to do with Barbara or Frances. I’m skipping pages of dialogue about milkshakes and sandwiches. Wtf is this book? It could be cut down by 50%, just keep everything happening in 1984 and it could be an okay book. The rest is just really, really awful.

This isn’t the story I was hoping for. I wanted to read about female astronauts and the first space shuttle missions, instead I’m getting a love story with some space themes 🥱 The whole thing is everyday conversations, I feel like I’m just reading someone’s random Tuesday.

I feel like this might be another book club miss for me

There are at least a dozen characters introduced in the first 60 pages. Why do I keep picking up books like this? 😵‍💫
