Finished Love & Extinction in Equal Measure last night: the best SF I've read in a long long while; it's hands down the best story involving time travel, and by far the best love story I've ever read (and I'm only ~⅓ in!) - no contest. Perfection. Onwards to Book 2!

zb My review (too long for update) for Book 1:

10/10 perfection, no notes. A genuine, flash-in-the-pan masterpiece; one of those rare books that makes you love life: sublime peak of reading as an entertainment medium. Love & Extinction is easily the best SF I've read in a long long while; it's hands down the best story involving time travel, and by far the best love story I've ever read (and I'm only ~⅓ in!) - no contest. Fantastic execution; gorgeous prose; incredible storytelling; truly living characters and gloriously, messily real relationships. Perfection. Onwards to Book 2!

No contest, L&E blows it out of the water (though in truth they're doing different things: L&E is a 3 book, grand interwoven love story - the first of which is 420k words in length, whereas Time War is a stunningly-written novella).

I've read over 85 sapphic romance novels/stories in the last ~2 years and nothing comes close to L&E (and I'm so so happy that I've still got two more books to read)!
