dnf halfway through because wow this is some bad writing. My book goal this year was to actually, actively stop reading a book I'm getting nothing from, with another goal of reading all the unread books I own. So far they're embarrassingly hand in hand.

This is an admirable goal!! I'm trying to do this more too - even if I sort of want to know what happens but actually reading the book is not enjoyable, that's still reason enought to quit!!

Right!! I've been enjoying a lot of unlikeable books recently but anything that's not even enjoyable is just not worth my one precious life. etc.
