Uh oh, here comes the annoying part. Gonna try to read it, but I might have to skim. (Already did, broadly, cause whenever the two leads are not together, I get bored; so that’s how I know it’s going to get annoying!)

The trope of the noble/rich person who’s nice to their peasants/workers stretches credulity these days, and kind of makes me lose respect for the writer. Feudalism and capitalism are not benevolent institutions. Even when you work for a relatively good employer, they’ll always be trying to take things away and making you fight tooth and nail to keep what you have.
