I’m understand sjm trying to allow us to get to know the characters but man sometimes it like and takes me a minute to get through these parts. The whole scene with choal popping up at her tower was really a waste of space. But I do love seeing choals humor it’s been awhile since we seen that side of him and hearing the romance died with his captain is wierd I can see where this is leading though

I really love Prince Sartaq. I’m kind of sad none of the book talks talk about him and faliqu makes me think he’s going to die or they will fade out. But I love his manorism and how he treats her. I love his other ruk family it’s admirable I think he’s one of my favorites at this moment

I love this book. I love how SJM will write a whole book about complete other characters to give us depth of all the characters and how the ending comes together. Aelin might be the FMC but everyone gets to play thier role. Watching choal grow and this new healer is exciting even though I really wish chole and aelin would have made it.

I’m so confused this whole time yrene has despised chole. Why out of no where is she conflicted and jealous? I can see chole falling for her even though that is a disaster too how you leave celeana for faliq now you love a third girl stop it. But also I didn’t realize him and faliq were in that deep I didn’t realize they were a thing. I’m so confused

I love how we are diving into this new world. I feel like this new land in the south with the healers is where my soul belongs. I’m also impressed to hear of all these God blessed people. And I can see where this is going how we are all connecting in the end. The question is who is going to stand in the way and where will faliq land in all this
