This chase scene through the woods had me cracking up! The visuals of Silla squealing shielding them from arrows, and bouncing backwards alone on Horse hauling ass was so funny. I could picture this playing out as a great scene in a show.

Best character in the book is Rurik. I feel like I can hear his accent. I’m dying to know what type of magic I’m assuming he has. Since Saga can’t hear him, and he seems to be able to read people so well, and had too quick movements in the trials.

I dont know why, but I find Rey and Silla’s love scenes to be a little awkward. The man barely speaks for a book and a half but then has sooo much to say during the deed, it doesn’t ring true for me.
