The world building is a bit sloppy. For at least the first entire half, I thought this was a war torn California. Like rubble and rebuilding and some semblance of getting back to normalbut with lots of uncertainty, but that’s not the case? Seems pretty stabilized and normal with social media, delivery drivers, homes and restaurants.
