I hoped to finish this today, but I will tomorrow. It is definitely my favorite in the series.

This one might be my favorite. It’s somehow the funniest but also the most bittersweet to me.

These books are so weird and instant favorites.

I had to pause devouring this series to catch up on this month’s book club readings: Slipstream, Still Alice (& maybe Proof bc it has layers for Still Alice apparently), Aftertaste, & Marlow Murder Club (a reread/refresh).

Audio-only so far for this 5th book in the series. Jeff Hays’s voice work is absolutely incredible. I can’t imagine the characters —particularly Carl, Donut, or Prepotente — with a different voice. The writing continues to be hilarious, imaginative, and highly inappropriate. NSFW, NSFC due to profanity & sometimes graphic violence. (But my kid loves when she hears snippets.)
