idk i really appreciate the effort this book is putting into fleshing out the different cultures in the world but i feel like every country/kingdom inspired by a real-world culture outside of europe is lacking in depth, overly simplified, and sometimes downright stereotypical. which honestly happens a lot in the genre in general but i digress

why is every male protagonist in fantasy named some variant of kel lol
