Awww poor oreseur!!!

I fear I am not flying through this book as quickly as the first one. The pacing is like really slow which is strange considering how high stakes everything seems. There’s also this relationship formed between Vin & Zane where they act like they’re pretty well acquainted with each other but I think it was just the 2nd time they’ve acc spoken?

Current theory is that Dockson is the kandra but also I think OreSeur is hiding something about how mistborns or how Vin especially can detect kandras. Maybe they can imitate allomancy but won’t be detected by Vin??

I’m starting to like Vin & OreSeur’s friendship. But I hate how Vin’s internal monologue is all about Elend while Elend’s is all about being king. Like girl ur the chosen one!!! I kind of like how both characters are insecure about themselves when their strengths are each other’s weaknesses. It’s also this time you’re supposed to get to know the characters more and see them navigate this new world.

I fear this is falling for 2nd book syndrome. The character development is interesting but the plot is so fucking slow I’m finding myself wanting to skip through a lot of this internal monologue.
