The writing of the first like 20% was genuinely so terrible. Why was the romantic subplot introduced on like page 5 before Jack the Ripper was even acknowledged as the antagonist. „He‘s so obnoxious and annoying. I won‘t be distracted by him. Although he‘s admittedly handsome & intelligent & makes my heart flutter“ like ever heard of show don’t tell?? Nonetheless, I can‘t lie, I‘m enjoying it..
