Really embodies the principle of that which you dwell on you become, and you can convince yourself to do anything.
I’m having a hard time reading this just because the main character is one of the worst, most victim yet pretentious people ever, I hate his attitude and outlook and reading his inner monologue is genuinely painful to me BUT I think that’s bc it’s the part of ourselves we never want to aknowledge

Drunk guy who has completely failed his family’s complete lack of self worth and understanding and just acceptance of the way he’s life to be is so distinctly pathetic I can’t even put words to it
