Some of the advice Ms. Marie Kondō gives is related to how Japanese people live. Such as telling people to return charms they got from temples after a year. While I don’t have a specific use for that advice, it’s always interesting to see a glimpse of life for people in other countries.

I’m in Chapter 4 of the book where once you’ve discarded everything you need to, she says you can start finding a specific place for the few things you have kept and gives advice on how to do so. Her methodology does make a lot of sense.

I’d like to get this book done before February ends, but it’s dropping a lot of hard truths on me, and I’m trying to take a bunch of notes.

She’s gone over a few different ways to store your clothes. It makes me wonder if I wasn’t using the audible version, maybe there would be pictorial directions?
Now I’m on a chapter about the unthinkable (downsizing your books!!!) Luckily I’m totally the type for “hear me out” people

I appreciate that while going over the method of throwing things out, she’s answering all of the questions I had about it.

This book is dropping some hard truths on me, but I’m going to keep going. This seems very important to learn.
