i got excited because this book was a ex-bfs best friend, that best friend has been waiting on her 5 1/2 years for him to finally get a chance with her (she broke up w her bf). what i didn’t expect was for her to not know that the best friend existed, like the mmc just showed up and was like “i like you” and the fmc found out the mmc was friends with her ex which made her mad. boooo

i don’t know whether i’m the problem or not but these books aren’t hitting or moving me which makes me sad because when i see how high the reviews are, it excites me just for me to be disappointed and let down.
