I like this quote: “…I would have liked to have loved someone. You know, mutually, and for a period of time, and at that time of life, when you’ve got so much of it… I think I’d have been good at it.” 💔💔

This book is some of the best writing I’ve ever read in my life. I really like this line: “She would shrug off this self-pity but shrugging hurt and here it was, creeping in again like damp in the walls, the loneliness, present even in company.” WOWZA!!!

If I were in any worse of a headspace, I don’t think I could handle this. I see too much of myself in both of them already
