just realised i haven't done an update since last week; again, really good progress, great chunky dialogues that humanises every pov. just past the chapter that may set off a chain reaction... but i am so glad to be enjoying it so far. i just love how smooth the pace is as well

the further it goes, the more untrustworthy almost everyone seemed; ultimate gaslighter, one of them were! i love how subtle the texts are too, seemingly like a precursor to 1984 but just with way more width and of a totally different, albeit more realistic manner when it deals with a group. i'm so excited to read on

shit sucks because i have to leave this at home from tomorrow till wednesday 😭 i am having such a wonderful time reading it so far and while it still is laying a lot of ground for characters to have an eventual twist, im so here for it. the characters are so alive in this.

technically 37, when including the intro, but i digress. it's really immersive so far, with how it feels like a brush stroke, but be warned that the notes, while of vital importance, are at lengths. do prepare your mental fortitude. as always, will only update once a week as im doing them mostly on the reading journal these days :)

I can't wait to read this one at some point this year. Enjoy and don't get too depressed!

I will most definitely write about my reading experience hahah Dostoevsky was truly the greatest author
so real honestly, like going through the books i've read since then, no one matches his prose, esp the way the dialogues are written or handling several 'protagonists'
Exactly, you get it. It's sad how most people see reading Dostoevsky as "performative reading"... But he's truly the one and only
tbf there are a % who does that, but they're minuscule compared to the wider majority who understands his work. he sometimes gets accused for being what "incels" read which is so stupid to me lmao
real; btw you can tell me to fuck off if it's too forthcoming but i've just recently deactivated my tiktok acc as i've not been on there for a long time, was wondering if you'd be comfortable to write more on discord or like telegram? i'd send a message on here but they've recently disabled that too 😓 but again, don't feel pressured, just wondering is all
