I love messy books so much and I also hate them with a such fervor that I wonder if I will survive the heat. Idk what it is but anytime a conflict happens or someone says something that I know is gonna hurt them later I cringe away like a chicken. The closer to the end I get the more scared I become because what do mean something happens to Zelu! What do you mean her fall? I’m so scared rn but so invested it reminds me a bit of Yellowface if the MC in that one was honest and now a liar and a racist.
