I forgot a lot about this series over the years. and it was fun reading about Esrahaddon again, although matching up his personality from his prequel to this book doesn't really match up that well for me.

Man, I really forgot this entire 2nd novel. I remembered the basic setup of the first book, but absolutely nothing from this one.
It is also a wild experience to read this again after the prequels and how well he wrote those to fit into the world building he wrote for this original series.
