WTF!!!
This book wasn't easy to begin with, seeing the historians visit Troy when it falls. The descriptions stay somewhat veiled, but it was still a tough bit.
But then.
Spoiler ahead! / CN SA
The "love" story pretty much annoyed me throughout, as there are so many toxic bits of behavior that aren't addressed. This time, though? Consensual sex turning r*pe??? WTF!! I'm so pissed off.

In the first book I saw the author addressing SA from a perspective I thought was well informed and feminist in approach. It existed but was commented on as such, and I could work with that. The romance turning r*pe shocked me. I wasn't able to read on for a few weeks. I then thought maybe I read it wrong, but no, it still feels shocking and wrong. I'll read on to see whether it will be addressed, but somehow I doubt it.
I had a lot of fun with the series until then, but I'm not sure I feel safe reading it anymore. With the travel to Troy and other events that might be tough I can prepare and decide to read on or leave it for a stronger day. But I am not prepared to expect this kind of assault in a "romance".
