That was a long book for what actually moved in the plot. Hopefully book 2 is shorter. No real cliffhanger — just she’s pregnant but still rejecting marriage with him, hope better writing comes back in sequel.

Surprised I did not guess earlier, but since maxim shot branka, he must have been in cahoots with Adrian to take down the Thorn group.

Got it now — Adrian was the little boy of the murdered father, lover of Konstantin’s mom. Possible half brother to Konstantin, seeking revenge.

The story and the writing are deteriorating in a bit. And there’s so many characters to keep track of I obviously started late.

Kindle reading after booktok review. Very good emotional writing so far.
