Glad we didn't linger on The Liar Revealed. I don't like this trope because it disregards everything that happened beforehand. Nice way of dealing with it after the initial reaction. Let's go!

That was very sweet, a unique way to describe a sex scene and very fitting for those characters.

Didn't pay attention if this book is listed as romantasy but it became more horny than I expected. Sometimes those two sound more like teenagers, but they have good reasons nit to act on it and I really do care if they end up together already. Bit of overwriting, though.

Pretty convinced by now that the sudden switches in perspective are due to poor layout. In other cases there are blanc lins separating paragraphs where neither the perspective or the scene changes. Pity because layout can be a great tool for dramatic purposes but I don't pin this one on the author anymore.

I'm a bit irritated by the change of perspective within a scene that creep in from time to time. And there are repetative thoughts now and then as if the author forgot she already told us that. One more round of editing could have prevented that. Still lots of fun, though

Getting a better grasp on both characters and liking their chemistry :)

Went to London for a holiday and didn't want to take my current read about Germany - so I started this one. It's breezy and at times amusing, but the main character is such an overthinker and seriously lacks focus I already started reading faster and rolling my eyes. Fortunately it picks up pace when Sarkis appears. Obviously Kingfisher did this all on purpose but it treats a fine line to being annoying anyways.
