the language is so lyrical and beautiful. i also enjoy all of the switch back between first, second and third person to each represent something different. i’m especially liking the first person exposing the thoughts of characters that aren’t necessarily pivotal or significant to us, the readers. makes me really feel like this is the story of a country, and not just of a cast of characters.
