ok getting intriguing
if you like plotlines and dialogue don't read this book tho
Very interesting and insightful thoughts
The second woman pmo though idk why everyone says this author just "gets " women bc I found the first two women very annoying is that internally misogynistic of me 😭

Ok the second story was actually good once I got past the horrible writing
I feel like my kindle is the problem bc people typically wrote better than this in the 1930s-40s 😭

First chapter ✅
Insightful thoughts on the process of aging and growing old, but overall extremely boring plotline. I can understand why people might like this novel but I like when books have an interesting plot, not just deep insights into certain topics. I can figure out the theme of a book without you describing it to me, as of right now it feels like an essay rather than a story.
