The way this is constructed just isn’t quite right to me. The names being passed to new alchemists through time makes no sense.. especially when they’re publishing under Hypatia, Einstein, Confucius, etc. How does that make sense in the broader world?

This was not what I expect at all.. it reads very juvenile at first, but now lots of graphic torture ?

I really want to like this but the setup is all over the place and so unlikely. Two high schoolers writing letters every day? But barely speaking or attempting to hang out? Clunky beginning

After reading the synopsis I’m worried this is too similar to Forbidden Alchemy..
