Listening on audible , maybe that is my mistake. I’m really not enjoying it , I loved it at the very start and the concept sounds so up my alley , but the characters aren’t compelling me at all and it feels like it just goes on and on . Might be an audio issue in that it would be better read physically ? People adore this I really want to

This is one of my favourite books, but I do agree that the characters are not compelling. It did not bother me as much as I thought it was intentional and characterisation was not the focus of the book.
