i know, based on reviews, lotta ppl think they’re childish & immature. but really, it’s kind of tender & peaceful how silly & unserious they are. their entire lives, they had to protect their brothers. didn’t get to be kids. sure, they got to fuck around. but until 2 years ago, they couldn’t be carefree. now they’re just healing their inner child by being dorks. kind of beautiful they can experience it now

“kate-bear” “sunshine child” yea ok calling karen those nicknames damn near redeemed everything that made me cringe. i mean she’s pretty much their adopted little sister. & how they immediately started calling her sunshine when they met made me melt. this book still makes me uncomfy & cringe, really just the “alpha” from the kink list lol. but their relationship w evan & karen is making it all worth it
