I’m only halfway through and I know I’m giving this book 3 stars. The stories themselves are not the problem, but how Sharon wrote them. The tangents are long and winding. The side comments about the stories’ relationship to the modern day actually take me out of the stories. Worse: How she tells it in the audiobook. Overacted and a bit grating.
