As he starts to swing his sword he realizes it’s the prince. He was going to rape C. He starts to talk to west but west pushed him off a cliff in anger. C and Dow are shocked. W is conflicted

Dogman finds Bethods scouts not far ahead. They decide to attack and try to take some of the gear. The prince and cathil are left back for safety. West is with Dow flanking from behind. He is freezing and Dow slaps him telling him to use the anger as warmth. They get into a skirmish and west kills two man, biting the lips and nose off one when he is pinned to the ground. He earns the name Furious from Threetrees

G stands on the wall speaking with the mercenary captain, asks him to hold as long as possible

G speaks with his prisoner the eater she is being tortured, but feels no pain cuts spilled no blood like a week old corpse or a pile of meat on a butcher block. She is nowhere close to confessing.

Z speaks to F calling her devil blood and asking if she knows what she has signed up for. She replies why should I prefer one liar’s word to another. All other breath is wasted.
Z & B speak a little more about the eaters led by K and that he must be stopped

The war in dog Esta has gone on for 10 days. The wall is starting to crumble. The pit is starting to fill a breached has formed with another on the way.

F & L9 stumble across a battlefield littered with corpses more than F has ever seen. To everyone’s surprise there are no flies or rats eating the corpses. Only birds standing visual, a man speaks, and everyone starts not realizing he had approached the birds flock to him. He greets by us and reveals that he is Zacharius another magus. He can control animals? he tries to convince B to end his quest with no luck.

Threetrees sets a grueling pace, atleast from west and laditla’s perspective. Pike, Cathil, and the northerners see no issues with it. West is freezing from giving L his jacket he learns pike fought with him and Glotka in the war. Pike remembers him and says P looked different back then. W tries to find comfort in speaking with C, but she is much harder than he realized she is also not pikes daughter.
