When men were chosen to leave for a cushy camp two days later the men that were left behind were liberated. It was learned that the men who were transferred were burned alive in a barn hours after leaving.

When he left Auschwitz, he learned that one day later, the men had begun to turn into cannibalism. He had chosen to leave when he could have stayed, but he wanted to stay with friends again.

Victor tried to escape once and decided instad to stay with his friends. He later learned the man who tried to escape was killed almost immediately.
Another time they were going to be moved to a worse camp and men were allowed to not go. If they volunteered for the hardest work. This was a ploy and the men who volunteered died there was no transfer

Death in typhean: a story that Victor referenced a lot.

A homeowner returns home and hears a servant’s tale, he has seen death and that he needs to borrow a car to flea as fast as possible so that he will not perish. The homeowner agrees and soon encounters Death questioning him “Why he scared the man so.” Death replied that he did not intend to, but he was surprised to have not encountered him on the road

Suffering is described as being akin to gas. It will fill the body it is contained in. Things always seem as if the worst is yet to come though it may have already passed. Through that suffering a person has the opportunity to forge it into something new. A purpose. Whether that purpose be surviving to see you’re beloved or find so sort of normality. But the same suffering may lead man to baser instincts

Four days sick, lying among the stench of the dying was a respite from the snow and work. Envy of others jobs was met with jokes of “atleast in not doing this”

He talks about love, how when it is deep it goes beyond the body of your beloved. How the absence of knowledge of his wife was excruciating but did not alter his feelings. He would pretend to talk with her when things got hard

Victor discussed some of the tribulations Jews would face in the camps, relating them to his personal or shared experiences. He shared these stories not to expose tyranny or cole that suffering exists but to forward his thesis. Moments that could be viewed only as suffering he shaded with camaraderie. The prisoner of Auschwitz in the first phase of shock did not fear death. Even the gas chambers lost their horse for him after the first few days after all, they spared him from the active committing suicide.

Victor asserts each prisoner of the camps follows three main phases.
1. Admittance to the camp. Typified by an ignorance to what is to come, people are often afraid, separated from their loved ones, willing to trust some.
2. Apathy, or the numbing of emotions. When a man has seen to much to be surprised except by his lack of reaction. Children beaten, men wasting, theft, beatings….
3. Release

Man’s search for meaning is the stories of everyday people who lived in concentration camps and the effort of explaining logotherapy theory which states that a persons life is dedicate not by the pursuit of happiness but instead by the pursuit of purpose.
Victor was a Jewish doctor who in ww2 was taken into the camps. He almost used his Id# instead of his name but thought it would undercut the message

Abigail and Brooks go to Chicago where they have the trial. Abigail is very smart and convinces the jury of her innocence and the mafias guilt. She manages to extort one of the two officers that had attacked her and implicate the other one at the same time she faked her death with a butt packet and Brooks shooting at her with a blank a few FBI members were in on it, Brook gets her a bench in her favorite spot.

Abigail has to plan a wedding with Brooks sister who is very pushy. They end up hearing from the detective in Little Rock and plan to move forward is happening. She completes her worm which will bankrupt the organization, corrupt all files and a bunch of information to various sources she put on a disguise and they had to Chicago when there she talks to two detectives and plays hardball, refusing protection

Home life things mostly they prep for the barbecue Abigail makes an orzo and a big deal about everything. Brooks tries to get some work done and end up getting called over to the church where there is a ruckus or to the book a to do. Blake and his wife got into a yelling match with some of the other towns folk about their son.
At the barbecue, everything goes smoothly Abigail feels what family should be. +wedding

They managed to get past the security by flipping the two kids ID tags with two random people, but the older of the two kids father was on the dock and tried to stop them. The kid seeing through the bullshit for the first time decided to go with Murderbot and Company, and they got the fuck out of there to quote MB

MB went underground to deal with the people trying to blow up the boat and he did this by blowing up the boat kind of. He flooded the area that they were in and then swam away. Kind of a lot of just travel at this point because the spaceship is so big. I took them almost 2 days to reach the end of the port when they got there there was a whole bunch of security and three showed back up.

They try to shoot a civilian transport vessel and MB stops them by shooting their gun out of their hands. Meanwhile, he identifies and underwater dock that has entrance into the ship that his people are boarding. He has a bad feeling about this.

They try to flee on the roofs, but F is afraid of heights, which is problematic. Also, the two kids don’t know if they can trust our group.
Eventually, we meet back up with Sofia and Nana and head to a ship, which is leaving the area. BE arrives with security force and threatens to enter and confiscate the fugitives and be finds this odd because normally they don’t wait this long.

He identifies three corpses as well as the body of two children who are alive, but chained to a wall he sends Nana and Sofi to a rest area to work on transport and him and Fari work on getting the children. They break in through the secret act and leave through the front door after a lot of hacking by MB to make sure that things go smoothly.

As they are being boarded, Murderbot ends up, incapacitating the people on board and swapping the ships so that his group can take their nice ship while the others taking their stolen transport vessel as a garnish, he creates a packet of the groups pirateing activities to release to anybody who gets near the ship
When they make it to the next area and be send his drones to the safe house

The group takes a tunnel system to the next area. They end up, having to steal a transport vessel in murder pockets, ping on a camera that he didn’t see an alert for a rogue tech unit has been made. As they are traveling through this area, they receiving a notification that they are going to want extra security and sure enough somebody tries to board their vessel.

He pinged back a couple more procedural documents that would help it hide and then keep running. They took a train out of the forest area and tried to plan for what was happening next and if they should help L’s family. Nana mentioned that both of the adults are pilots and they could rent a ship to fly through the area more quickly and with less security measures.

MB kept noticing security personnel and tried to plot out a map of all the alerts which he determined seem to be moving in a straight line towards them. He encountered a rogue, sec unit that paying him a package of his own how to break your governor module code that he wrote for be units on plague world

As they left MB detected signs of explosions by the hatch I know that they must’ve found it, but are not immediately following the elevator led to a redwood forest area that is highly reminiscent of Star Wars, where the ewoc live, but a shopping plaza

They navigated through what was basically a sewer waitng for some sort of sign behind them that the security personnel had found the hidden hatch MB kept getting signs of homeless encampments in the sewers and tried to navigate around them as fast as he could you did not communicate any of this clearly to his group so they were fairly very stressed out. Eventually, they found a elevator out of the tunnels

Leonide was killed by Nana via lethal injection because her pain seems too much to bear the package that she had sent to right about was also sent to the other people in the group, except for the kid. It held the coordinates of her family that she was trying to get rescued as as well as a root of the best way to navigate there. And be kept getting pings for alerts of rogue sec that units which she found weird.

Two second units and nine fully armed security personnel are approaching. L tells them all about a secondary exit and they are trying to slip into that when the doors of the safe house are blown off sending a lot of shrapnel into Murderbot and L. The family inject her with something, but she is critical and sent a packet of data to MB.

Talking with L, he quickly finds out that she knew somebody was coming and was hoping that they could get her people to safety at the same time as collecting the doctor’s family. The potential for her people to be broken out is the reason that security is so tightened after briefly talking with the family and L he is notified of an alert that he station security has told residence to stay inside nearby.
