The sun sets later, there is more daylight overall, and the days are also warmer and - most importantly - sunny!

I'll get the garden ready this weekend, then post more pictures.

Yep. While the entire country had snow, we had rain - for WEEKS. After a pretty cool winter (like we used to), it feels so nice finally not needing electrical light throughout the whole day. *lol*Can't wait to work in the garden.
Oh. Um whelp I got 2 inches of snow. For no reason. I had to wear totes again. A muffin would be nice you know?

You know, there is a time and place for everything and snow's days are over for the next 8 months at least. We have about 4 sunny days and already I'm lamenting today being more windy (and therefore cooler) than the others despite it still being 15-16°C. *lol* It's March, I want spring now, please.

YUSS! looking forward to them :-)
So I didn't take any pictures just yet BUT I finally tried filming underwater in our pond to check on the wildlife there and managed to film our resident newt! 😍🤩 Sadly, I can't just link to the vid since GR is getting stupider and stupider by the minute, but here is the torn-up version, you just have to put it together: htt ps: //sendvid. com/geknjjxd

Newts are a kind of salamander or am I mixing it up with something else? Anyway, I'm sure it's the coolest! 😎😍
Yep, both are amphibians. Ours is a lissotriton vulgaris or an ichthiosaura alpestris and they have become incredibly rare in these parts so I'm all the more proud of having a pond so nature-like that one of them chose it as his home. And just this morning, I saw one of the frogs (no, can't be sure it's one of those from last year but I'm just assume). :D He was startled by my appearance so jumped into the water too quickly for me to take a pic, alas.

Every little thing helps, more than we realise. I don't know if I could keep myself from checking on the fauna all the time, like a deranged fan...but I wouldn't want to disturb their habitat and stress them either...😔 Frogs are so funny too!
