When I read sun, moon and stars, I can’t help but think “sheik me shiraki anni” from game of thrones.

Wow.. the cup bearer forgot to mention him to the kind until years later when the king needed his dream to be interpreted and still Yusuf (AS) didn’t hold a grudge against him but greeted him warmly.

Yusuf (AS), as handsome as he was, resisted temptation even when faced with consequences. I’ve always loved the story of Yusuf (AS). It’s been my favourite Surah.

While their brothers betrayed Yusuf (AS), Yusuf (AS) grew up in a fancy place in Egypt while his brothers toiled on their farm in Palestine. Poor Yaqub (AS). He was patient, missing his son.

Oh, wow. I didn’t know Yusuf (AS) was born in Palestine.

The dream of Yusuf (AS) with the sun, moon and 11 stars bowing down to him is so fascinating especially when it comes to fruition much, much later. Dream interpretation in Islam is so fascinating.

Quite a number of mentions of travelling through Palestine.

Saleh (AS) is really truly nice on another level to have still been calling them ‘his people’ after everything they had done - story of the she-camel.
