i'll be having so much fun with this story and then ryland will say something like “most people don't just know [unbelievably dense science fact] off the top of their head, but most people arent junior high school teachers" and i'll want to roll my eyes so hard i explode.

if they're trying to push the romantic subplot that i think they are... they better not be

for a guy who is supposedly having trouble recalling memories he's sure recalling a lot of pertinent memories at opportune moments.

every time i read a book with a male protagonist i think... this would be better if he were a woman. ryland is growing on me everything's fine but still.... realizing i'm biased...
