It's taken until 34% for this story to get going in any kind of interesting way. I have been entirely disappointed up until now compared to the first two books. I hope it continues on this higher storytelling path. And I thought authors had finally gotten the hint that most readers don't care to see the F-word in every imaginable configuration on every other page. I guess Baldree missed that conversation.

Oh noooo... Hope it redeems itself for you. I enjoyed Legends&Lattes but I don't feel a strong urge to continue. L&L had, I think, one occasion of crude language, and it came so out of the blue I threw me. Me! The one who swears like a regular dockworker, not even a sailor. Hmm.

If a character is having extreme feelings about something, okay, but all the "it's in the effing wagon" and "hand me the effing the salt", or "it's down the effing road" etc... is also tedious in its own right just like any other word that gets over used in a book. I also don't know why when a book is fantasy why the author doesn't make up the swear words. I used to have a mouth on me, too, but I knew not to use it in general public and as Sebastian says... you have to read the room. I quit swearing aloud after Baz was born. Notice I said aloud, ha ha. XD
