to his unending imprisoned on the estate (500yrs in the show, 20 yrs in this book), to the fact the baddies want him to have kids with someone from the group of women to then get rid of him, to the pet that saves her from her condition (poison in the show/painful headaches and blackouts in the book, to him feeding her his blood to heal her.

It's one heck of a coincidence, but up until now, this plot follows pretty much the same storyline as the Chinese show 'When Destiny Brings the Demon' except the transmigration to another world. Sooooo...so far this is reminding me waayyy too much of a Chinese show that came out August of last year called 'When Destiny Brings the Demon'. Even the first meeting happened pretty much EXACTLY like in the show.
