Grim truly knows everything about Isla! And I thought they were gonna get their freak on right there lowkey! I don’t think Poppy and Terra are responsible for the graves or killing the nightbane. It would be too obvious to just blame them because they weren’t at the wedding and because of the snake at the site. Islas’ feelings are clouding her judgement badly cuz even Grim hesitated to imprison Poppy and Terra.

I freaking knew that some big bad ancestor was gonna be behind all this. Isla can’t win in a battle of powers against her own ancestor. Lark Crown has been alive for 100+ years and Isla has just started using her own powers. Isla better escape asap. All that’s missing is Grim and Oros’ ancestors being alive too cuz Cronans’ bones weren’t in the coffin! The portal being made of his bones could be wrong!!

I’ve never felt more sorry for Grim and Isla than now. They are both bound by pretty heavy shit and anything resembling being a normal family and having a kid doesn’t seem feasible. Why couldn’t the Augur just tell her who the damn traitor is? Cuz now everyone’s just assuming Isla is the traitor and the one who attacked the village. If they were smart tho they would connect the grave robbers to the attacker!?

Isla and Grim just causally dueling. It’s good that Isla feels comfortable using her powers. I thought Isla was done for though! Those creatures came out of nowhere and it was a good thing she had the book. Wow I never would’ve thought the coffin was the portal! Grim is lowkey gonna be disappointed in Isla not just because she was in the maze behind his back but now she has to come clean about the Skyres.

More Grim lore, I love ittt! Them just causally visiting Cronans’ grave in the maze is kinda weird! ISLA AND GRIM ARE FREAKING RABBITS. Also, a skyre that’s a rose encased in an orb sounds like a wildling type. Idk if it’s good or bad thing tho. Isla and Grim went on a date in the village hehe. And then they went at it like rabbits again!!! Jeez they really like getting down n dirty!!

It honestly feels like they’re on a honeymoon rn. Eating candy, buying new clothes for Grim, chilling in front of a fireplace talking about their childhoods. If I didn’t know they were fighting against treacherous storms and on verges of waging wars I’d say these moments they’re sharing are so adorable. But I know that once this adorable period passes all hell is gonna break loose man!!!

Isla using Grims’ love to get him to take her to find more Skyres is so sneaky! Isla’s finally letting her feelings for Grim out! They got down and dirty I’m over here blushing! My theory is that when Islas’ dad found the island and saw all it had he realized how valuable Wildlings are. And that’s why he didn’t kill her mom! Isla’s scary when she lets all of her abilities out. But she did a good deed by bringing the fruits back to the villages. I feel like the snakes were telling Isla that the traitor is closed to her than she thinks. Damn I was hoping Isla wouldn’t use the Skyres.

Isla finally took the bracelets off!! I mean it makes sense she sneezed flowers cuz she hasn’t used her power for quite a while lol! A true cousins moment between Isla and Astria! So now we know which side Isla got her curiosity from. Did Islas’ father explore the island on that map and claim it with Islas’ name to be able to gift it to the child (Isla) he would have later on?!What else will Isla find in there?

These Skyres are def just going to unleash some terrible evil later on. I hope Isla doesn’t use them and Isla should just burn the feather cuz I don’t trust it for a second. I know she didn’t want to kill the prophet followers but in the end, they’re just a cult following what was written in the stupid book. I called it! Isla might say she isn’t someone who wants to kill but her feelings say otherwise!!!
