I started this in the last year (part of a gift of religion books from Ivy in 2019). I bounced around from Genesis to a lot of Paul's writings, and now recently I picked up in the Old Testament where I left off in my general knowledge (I'm pretty solid on most stories through Exodus, so I picked up at Joshua). All of the maps and sidebars with historical information are SO useful and interesting!

How's this one going? Made any more progress? It sounds interesting! I've often felt the Bible is so hard to understand at times due to our lack of context and being so far removed from that time and geography.
