genuinely that was the stupidest first trial ever. wandering through your fears to become emperor of the whole country? how does one even win or lose this. u win two trials and you become emperor? there’s four of them. what if three win one trial each? why were these four chosen. obvi elias is supposed to be great and whatever and helene is good too but marcus and zak are really the other two strongest? seems fake

reeeeeeaaaaalllllyyyy YA feeling but it has STELLAR reviews so i’m going to keep going. i think im just riding the high of the jasad heir a little too much like the prose was so strong there and this book is always compared to it so i figured id give it a try
