I wish she spent more time on this subject rather than just 28 pages. Sex robots has been a topic of high debate. Like Bates I’m strongly against it. It’s not about sexual liberation when most of the robots are YOUNG (child like) females. These robots are there to fulfill men’s perverse fantasies. Normalizing violent & pedophilic sexual acts on an inanimate object and labeling it as “fetish” is disgusting.

Torn because it’s a good book but I don’t think she knows how to articulate herself well. She rambles on during certain chapters, repeating herself constantly. Other chapters are really short almost like she doesn’t have a clear grasp on the subject.

Honestly surprised by some of the women in here that victim blame. Pelosi? Whoopi?

So far it’s okay. The chapter about metaverse was intriguing but I felt like she didn’t know how to end it, or better yet, how to elongate it properly. She was repeating herself so much, I had to skip the last 5 pages. Hope the other chapters are not the same

“We expect women to endure virtual reality abuse so that violent men can enact violent fantasies in an obscene playground” - exactly how I feel
