Probably going to dnf because this author very clearly has a historical agenda to push. Thomas Cromwell was the force behind Anne Boleyn’s death, not Henry (tho to be fair he did sign off on it). Like this authors forward has zero sources cited for her pretty bold claims she’s making about Henry VIII’s motives. I’m not a Henry defender of course, dude was wack, but I like nuance in real people ur writing

“Jane attended Anne after a miscarriage when no one else was allowed to” number 1, source! Number 2, that doesn’t necessarily mean they liked each other. Kinswomen generally attended to each other during shit like that out of family obligations, doesn’t necessarily mean they liked each other.
