"When someone lies blatantly," I smiled angrily.

Wtf literally nothing about this makes any sense.

I can't believe how unrealistic all of these characters are. The dialogue is horrible. None of their conversations make any sense, their body language is completely off, their facial expressions described almost completely contradictory to what is being said. I can't understand how anyone can write so badly. I'm just rage-reading it by now.

It's exhausting how unrealistic everyone is acting. There's only so far I can suspend my disbelief.

This is so weirdly written. Oddly stiff, disjointed, and staccato. No one speaks like actual human beings. None of their reactions make much sense. Maybe it's the case of this being the writer couple's first joint publication, but so far I don't get the hype at all.
