Somehow, this chapter was the most light-hearted and funny chapter of this entire book. Well, the *only* light-hearted chapter apart from the Kazhimir POV. In spite of the nature of the chapter it was absolutely hilarious haha 😆

Why must there be no respite anywhere, in any plane of times. The gruesome past, the cruelty the Caligoryas bring with their ephemerality, and the present is but a constant reminder of what came before. This is so HEAVY, there is no end, no balance. It gnaws at my heart. When I see "Past", my heart constricts, when I see "Caligorya", I feel short-lived relief, and when I see "Present" I long the Future that isn't...

Necessary comment on this chapter. It was absolutely heartbreaking. There has to be a way out of it. The death of general Loyce mayhaps? If not, surely Dolion can do something. The man found ways of destroying and saving the worlds, surely the old man knows a thing or two... Maybe it'd grate at his conscience, at his pride though... Please don't let him suffer eternally 😭
