I loved the first book but haven't gotten around to this one yet. Curious about why so many DNFs!


Laura Maybe people have DNF'd it because it's the saddest imo. I've read the FTL so the story does all come together nicely. I enjoy it for that reason alone and love it for the plot.

Is it the saddest portion of the novel? Or does it get even sadder?
I see a lot of people love angst and pain, but I'm not sure why they dnf this one when it has just that.
I haven't read this story yet, and I'm looking forward to it some day after all the volumes get published so I can binge it.


Laura This is the saddest part of the novel (from what I remember anyway). It's a very high stakes story so if you want something light and breezy then you should give it a miss. You're probably doing the right thing waiting for all the volumes to come out as the cliff hangers are intense.
