GUYS! I know this is a memoir, not a self help book. BUT! This is what a self help book should be like. This woman was in the (non literal) trenches at my age like me. To read about her slowly finding healing (sometimes against her will) is what I want to read about instead of a preachy self help book. Hearing how similar her relationship with her therapist is to mine was soooo interesting. I’m loving this book.
