i don’t know what is in this book, but my body just refuses to put it down! might i say top 10 favorite books of 2026??? it’s too early to tell but i’m falling in love already—god it makes me yearn for new york… and i’ve never been!!

my best friend is coming over to sleepover and i’m supposed to be straightening up my room and getting ready for cookies and brokeback mountain, but it’s so hard to put this down fr-


hard 4.5 at the moment—could go up to 5 or down to for, but i know i wouldn’t give it any less than that.

ugh i can’t wait to tote this book around in the summer with my mini denim skirt, a pack of marlboro cigarettes, and my puma ballet flats

this book is starting off pretty fast-paced, and jazzy—the writing is a little bland, but quick witted; it even got a little chuckle out of me.


i think i’m going to like this book.

i’ve been wanting to read this book since the 2014 pale grunge tumblr arctic monkeys lana del rey era and i’m finally reading it, i’m so excited-


also, i have seen the movie first; i rented the criterion collection of it at the local library, but that was a while ago, and i don’t remember much of it now. so there.
