As someone with a 10 year age gap in sisters, "The kids just jump on" no, they copy you and fill in when you can't get the job done. Viewing kids as extra helpers to do chores is just birthing out servants. When you start to rely on your kids, you take their efforts for granted and they grow resentful of their forced maturity. After being an age gap sister, I hope to have my kids close in age or 2 and 2 God willing

The interviews are very redundant, «I didn't know how many kids I wanted I was just open to it» it's great that there are many examples of this but there's not enough new information, just driving in the core of the different women interviewed

I very much love the interviews and how the different women wanted and didn't want kids and eventually had a big family. The sacrifices they've made to have a big family, the love they have for their kids, the support of their husbands, the way that you can be a mom but also your own person but not the person you used to be and that's okay and that takes time, and also the financial part. The exact numbers are not spoken about but it tends to lean on the case that you sacrifice a lot for the kids and you lose your self in them or you have enough money to make it work. It's very nice to see it from women who were also career focused and what shifted to becoming a mother of a large family. I don't agree with continuing to have kids because that's what you can do for the world even if it starts to take a toll on your body. I think endangering your body for another soul is a tradeoff, especially when you already have other kids to take care of
