Esmeralda (council woman) could slay the dragons but Mermaid Chronicles (who her friend could translate) said Cordelia would die.
Stay in Atlantis? Or bring it to the human world where it’ll be invisible to humans. Duh- human world.
Wade and Cordelia are back together. His mom was rooting for Steph and Wade/same breed. But chronicles needed THEM to be united.

Cordelia killed the entire race??

They seem to get a new color pearl once each quest is completed.
She slept with Trent. Maya was furious. But then died(?) and got turned into a mermaid- lost her memory.
Diamonds are usable.
This relationship is the only reason this book will lose a star. It’s that horrible.
They reached Atlantis. Beware dragon kings-Gal. An island in ruin.

Gal - dragon king. Water dragon. Can create whirl pools. Breathes fire. His people are selfish. 7’ in human form. They’re in Atlantis; who won’t let it go easy. Sounds like a fight. Is Gal wanting to betray his own people?

Yep. Cordelia’s dad’s trucks are collecting shark/people; wades cousin was the last victim.

This author loves the word “Taught.”

Gal (underwater council) saved the 2 from death; drink of the sea. Gal kicked off now joining their quest to find Atlantis;seems less powerful, older, softer voice- he’s dying isn’t he?
They now have powers. His unknown. Hers fire mermaid.
They were going to get married. Stephanie holding him as he was dying sent her into a jealous rage. Wedding off. Now he’s with “nothing to be jealous of” Steph 🫩

Wade has his ex girlfriend around. He lost his virginity to her. Author is normalizing this- Cordelia insecure and wrong for thinking this wasn’t okay…. Stephanie (ex) is in a string bikini.

Finger session. With how author writes this- it’s just off. Not healthy. Not real expectations. Why I would say adult not YA
