41 - The Dying Detective - This might be the gayest story yet, and that is clearing some insanely high bars. I thought the starting mention of Holmes' "dislike and distrust" of women was a lot, then he geneuinly said "Watson, if you love me....". AND besides that it's a super fun story? ACD invented anthrax bombing. awesome.

40 - The Bruce Partington Plans - im usually not a fan of stories where sherlock has to save britian or the state or whatever, but this was remarkably well-done and much more importaly, super fun! kind of missed the mark w Mycroft, but Sherlock is sooo so good here all is forgiven.

38 - Wisteria Lodge - they say so many slurs in thus one. but also the general idea behind the story is quite generously 'woke' for its time. Arthur Conan Doyle, they can never make me form an opinion of you.
