I took a long break from this book, and I’m glad I did because I’m enjoying it much more now. I stopped right before one the mosaic chapters and decided I would attempt it and DNF if I wasn’t feeling invested afterwards. Story definitely picked up after about the 1/3rd mark.

Questioning if this is the book for me atm. Idk if this is the best intro to Tchaikovsky since people seem to prefer his sci-fi over fantasy.
