Stevens feels so relatable. To me at least. Very analytical, but also never sure of when his analysis or decisions are enough. Very precise in a way where he recognizes problems where other people don’t (and it gnaws away at him despite others not really caring). Hates ambiguity, and mourns the loss of a more structured and ordered system he understood. Amazing characterization so far. Beauty if city v countryside
