Most of the rest of the book is talking about how the manged to escape and the aftermath, like the bombing of Hiroshima and nagsaki .tit also talks about ho wpeople commited suidecide on the Japanese side. It says who they rescued and all that info. The book was pretty good, and I like how they got different points of view without making it hard to follow

I read more than usual, so I won't summarize it. The book's style of switching point of view has a good style. Because it's not first person and more narrator detailing in a chronological order. It gives time stamps of the years while reading and sometimes tells small details. The current part I'm reading is the POWS and Rangers on an escape route. It describes the Rangers' plans for stuff, or what they do to succeed

m to places to get transferred over. They beat the prisoners and killed them on the way. They also took anything. One guy tied his college ring around his sack and his other thing, I'm not allowed to type probably. So then they wouldn't take it when they searched him. The Japs did have to pay the soldiers doing labor, which was everyone. They paid them the lowest they could because of the Geniva people i think. :)
